Uninstalling Version Saver
Previous Topic

Uninstalling Version Saver will not delete your saved file versions, nor will it delete the configuration information, so if you reinstall Version Saver at some future time your data and setup information will have been preserved.

On Windows Vista or Windows 7

  1. Click on the Start / Control Panel, "Programs and Features" icons.
  2. Scroll down the list and click on Version Saver to highlight it.
  3. Right-click the mouse on the highlighted name and choose "Uninstall".
  4. You will be asked whether to close two applications that are part of Version Saver. Choose the option "Do not close applications ( a reboot will be required )" Then click OK.
  5. After the uninstallation has finished, close down Windows and reboot your computer.

On Windows XP and older versions of Windows

  1. Click on the Start / Control Panel, "Add/Remove programs" icon.
  2. Scroll down the list and click on Version Saver to highlight it.
  3. Right-click the mouse on the highlighted name and choose "Uninstall".
  4. After uninstalling, a reboot may be asked for.

Before installing upgrades of Version Saver, you should uninstall the old version. Your saved data and configuration files will be preserved ready for use by the new, upgraded version when you install it.
