The Restore Wizard works by displaying pages that ask you a series of questions about how you want to restore a file.

 

The first page of the Restore Wizard asks whether you know where the file is that you want to restore an older copy of:

 

 

 

• Most times you will be working on a file and have a need to view or restore an earlier copy. You know where the file you have been working on is, so you can choose the first option: 

        "I know the current location of the file I want to restore..."

 

• Click the Next button to continue:

• Sometimes, you may want to restore a file from long ago that you deleted from your computer. The file is no longer on your computer so you can't select it from a list. Instead you need to type in the name or approximate name of the file, and have Version Saver look for all the backups it has kept with a corresponding name. Choose the second option:

       "I DON'T know the current location of the file I want to restore..."

 

 

• Click the Next button to continue:
