• Type in the name or approximate name for the file that Version Saver may have backed up.

 

For example, for a file which had the word "Tuesday" as part of the name:

 

 

 

• Version Saver will only search on one drive at a time. To change the drive searched on, click on the button that says "Change".
• A box pops up to select a new drive:

 

• Next, click the button that says: �"Search any directories for file named:�"

 

Searching may take some time. To assure you that the search is still working and not frozen you will see the animated progress bar moving back and forth and the name of latest file found is displayed below it.

 

• You can end the search early by clicking the button which says "Cancel search�"
• If Version Saver has found any files, it will display a message asking you to click the Next button to go to the next page.
