Select and View a Saved Version

Note that files are viewed by opening the application they are associated with in Microsoft Windows. For example, if you click on a ".doc" file, Microsoft Word will open and display the file.

Not all file types have an association with viewing applications, so the attempt to view the file may not succeed.  The best way of getting round this problem is to create an association in Microsoft Windows between a file extension and an application that can view that file type.

An easy, non-technical way to create an association is find a file of the same extension using Windows Explorer and double-click on that file. Windows will them ask you to choose an application for viewing that file. Tick the box that says to always use the application you choose. OK your choices. Now when you try to view a file of the same extension in Version Saver, it should work.
